Georgia Mulholland is an artist and human rights worker based between Australia and the Middle East. Her artistic work plays with sound, photography, and moving image to document themes of land and memory. Georgia holds a BA in Design, majoring in Moving Image, and is currently completing a Masters in International Humanitarian Law.
Born in Western Australia, Georgia has spent much of the past decade living in Palestine, Egypt, Mexico, Colombia, and the Kimberley Region of Northern WA, and is currently an Artist in Residence at Wonder Cabinet in Bethlehem, Palestine. Her artistic practice is shaped by these diverse experiences, focusing on the complexities of identity, politics, and human rights.
Since 2019, Georgia has served as Project Director of Made in Palestine, a non-profit organisation rooted in International Humanitarian Law dedicated to providing Palestinian families with humanitarian and economic support. She leads an active team in both Australia and the West Bank, and has lectured on Palestinian and First Nations Solidarity across continents. She is deeply engaged in distributing humanitarian aid, voluntary work within refugee camps and occupied military zones, and maintains meaningful relationships across borders.
